Although not as impressive as another of the regional park courses we’ve played (Upton Hill), the course holds its own as a slightly above average course.  The carpets were all in good shape and the course overall was showed good upkeep. Unfortunately, save for a hole or two at the beginning the creativity of the holes isn’t there and the overall difficulty is average.  It did have one very interesting two tier hole that had about 10 different ways you could get to the bottom.  Like Upton Hill, every hole on this course is a par two, which is a little ridiculous as some of them definitely warrant an extra stroke.  The course does get brownie points for having metal putters and it’s the only course we’ve played thus far that gives out golf pencils with erasers.  Other than that, its nothing special, but definitely worth swinging by if you’re in the area, especially with all the other options it has for activities.

Note: In 2007, we received a submission from a visitor that had some pretty harsh criticisms of the management of the park, specifically the Great Waves water park here (not the miniature golf).  We personally had no problems, but wanted, in fairness, to pass along that we had heard some negative feedback about the park as a whole.  In general though, as it was not directed at the miniature golf we decided not to print the complaint in its entirety.  If you have had similar experiences, feel free to contact us.
