This course definitely wasn’t what we were expecting when we entered the
place. Unlike many indoor courses which
are made of a lot of plywood and 2x4s, this course was designed and built just
like an outdoor course, then placed inside a greenhouse to give it an outdoors
feel, even in the middle of a snowstorm (that’s when we were there). Being in a greenhouse the temperature control
was very good and keeping with the gardening theme the course had excellent
landscaping. The only drawback was that
in some sections it used peat chips, which stuck in your shoes when trying to
stand off the course, then tracked onto the greens. However, before we could even mention it to
the owners, they said they were in the process of changing all the off course areas over to river rocks instead. The other couple items we noted were that
there were some low overhangs in places due to it being in a greenhouse, so
watch your head and they had flags in the cups which is more just a personal
dislike of ours. The few obstacles that
were on the course didn’t seem to give you much of an advantage by going through
them and there were a couple more interestingly designed holes on the
course. (Hole #9 is a crazy hole,
requiring excellent choice of speed).
This course is definitely worth stopping by, especially if you need
something to do on a rainy/snowy/otherwise ugly day. The people are very friendly
and the course has a great atmosphere to it.
2010 Update
This course had declined
slightly since the last time we played it.
There was some wear on the carpets and the water running through the
course was disgusting (a very nasty yellow/brown, which looked awful in the fountain). The course did remove the flags from the cups
and put them on the bricks, which was nice way to keep them without them
interfering. We also noticed that the
course seemed a little tighter than our previous play, but that could have been
because there were significantly more people playing. We still recommend playing this course,
especially if you are looking for a place on an inclement weather day.
2025 Update
Not
a lot of changes in the 15 years since we have played. There’s still some wear and water damage on
the carpets but it didn’t really seem to impact play at all through the
course. This time around we played with
the kids and they brought a different perspective on
it. They enjoyed that a lot of the holes
were shorter/manageable for kids enabling a decent amount of 2s and even a few
aces. The multi-tier hole was a favorite
as it did seem like a consistent ace if you got it in the right hole at the top
as we went three for three on it. The more impactful item on putts would be the
metal cups as we had a few lip outs and slide-bys
that would have dropped without them and added a bit to the difficulty. We also brought the atmosphere score up
because the kids really thought the setting was cool in the greenhouse and
loved the plants, waterfalls, etc that around the course.
However, as an adult, some of those items sometimes got in the way of
putting depending on where you had to stand. The score also ticked up because
the cost is still very reasonable under $10 for an adult given it’s one of the
few indoor courses in the area and it is in decent shape. If we were closer we would play this course a lot more in the winter
months.

This course was reviewed about 15 years ago here as
Tee-rarrium . From reading those reviews I think the business must have
changed hands because this course was beautifully done & used the indoor
space quite creatively. It was not a difficult course but was fun to play &
fills a need as New England lacks a large amount of indoor mini-golf options
for winter. Seemed short on staff (the new “normal”) but the staff they did
have was very accommodating. Also for anyone who cares
about other amenities this was the best soft serve ice
cream I have ever found at a mini-golf. Made on the premises & very
generous portions for the price.

This course is unique in the fact that in is in a greenhouse. It was neat to be inside where it's warm, yet still feel like you're outdoors. The greens were
well kept and I commend them for that. However, the
holes left much to be wanted. There was not much imagination in all but a few
of them. On top of that, the holes were much too easy. I played 2 rounds and
got hole-in-ones on #7 and #9 both times. These holes were far too easy. It's still a fun course to play and worth the
$6, but I prefer a more challenging course.
