The Sluggers center contains batting cages, a video arcade, ice cream parlor, a R/C car hobby shop and a race track for R/C cars, as well as a mini golf course. It appears as if the R/C cars are the operators main love, with the mini-golf course receiving short shrift. The course has a surprising charm, with its almost Southern Gothic sense of decaying grandeur. The course is decorated with a number of large concrete animals, as if one were putting through a zoo. Sadly, the course is very poorly maintained. The gorilla's wooden cage is falling apart, for example. Proper maintenance of the course would have earned it a higher atmosphere rating. Some of the holes make up for short length by having tricky, bumpy greens, adding to the challenge. However, the very affordable price is a strong argument in the course's favor, and thus I would still recommend it if one is in the area- we had a good time.
