A beautifully landscaped 18 hole skill course at the base of Brockway Mountain in Copper Harbor, Michigan. Very friendly owner with her sweet dog Fern and 6 resident ducks roaming the grounds. Each hole on the course has an alternate 'crazy' way to play, some with props such as a pool cue, tiny putters, hockey stick and a broom. Others you use your foot, putt behind your back, etc. VERY fun and funny, constant laughs. The course is tastefully arranged leading the player 'into the woods', hence the name. The wooded setting opens up to a fenced in area housing g a small orchard, vegetable beds and The House of Webbed Repute where the ducks reside. This course is deceptively challenging with sand traps, water hazards and terrain changes built in. The supporting props reflect the personality of the area. They run a 5 week league anyone can join for one week or all five. The course also permits adult beverages after 3pm, which is a bonus, they do check ID. Highly recommend visiting this course if you are touring the UP and Lake Superior. It will be a memorable part if your trip.
