This course was the home of a couple rounds of the USPMGA U.S. Open tournament back in 2004. It looks deceptively easy upon arrival and after playing the course a couple of times it does become relatively simple. The first time you play it though, watch out. There are several short holes that provide easy hole-in-ones once you figure out the trick to them. But it’s mastering the trick that is the hard part. Each of these holes has an exact way to hit them for the ace. Most holes on the course offer a decent chance at an ace, save for one or two longer, more complicated holes. There is also a 19th hole, but there is no free game associated with it.
Overall, the course is well maintained and kept clean. As with the two courses in the “Hawaiian”
family, there are soda machines halfway through to provide mid-course
refreshment. While not as flashy as some
of the course in
