After The Putting Penguin completed their challenge
against Biggie, we played the 61-year-old Flamingo Miniature Golf
Course. This course is practically the
same as when it was built, and is clearly themed for the seaside town in which
its located. The course is meticulously
cared for, and it is clear the owner takes pride in providing entertainment to
generations of Jersey Shore locals and vacationers. The mats are replaced every two years, and
the movable obstacles worked perfectly.
The course is located on a small lot, but it is laid out really well.
The play is incredibly easy, which will allow
all players in your group to feel successful on the course. The holes are very forgiving, and many of the
putts are short. A little practice on
this course will easily lower your score well below par.
We highly recommend this course! Whether you’re older and play for the
nostalgia or younger and want to experience some old school minigolf, we hope
you all love this course as much as we do!
And while you’re there, purchase a souvenir t-shirt. They’re only $8! (And remember to hit the ATM; it’s a
cash-only establishment.
