Coal Country offers a unique and totally unexpected way to recognize and celebrate the coal mining history and heritage that has shaped North Central West Virginia. Coal Country is a family-oriented and fun mini-golf and batting cages facility. There is also an interactive coal mining exhibit, which is operated by a non-profit group called "Northern Appalachian Coal Mining Heritage Association (NACMHA)". Each hole showcases a different feature that you could only find elsewhere in the coal mine. I have personally played on this course four times over the last four years and I have never had a negative experience playing putt-putt golf here. This is one of the best putt putt golf courses in the state of West Virginia! Coal Country is located right off of Interstate 79 in Fairmont, West Virginia.
