This is a 36 hole adventure style miniature golf course. The course is spacious with well landscaped hole design. Both 18 hole courses are intertwined well and it is impossible to see what is ahead. The course incorporates aspects of the Peter Pan story, including Captain Hook’s ship, the ticking croc, Tigerlily and Peter Pan (although there is a distinct lack of both Captain Hook and the Lost Boys as the name of the courses would have you believe they are there.)
The skull shaped cavern was used well in both courses as the holes wound through it quite well. Considering these course were played on a rainy day, there were no puddles and the grounds-crew kept the course in excellent condition. The trees and plants were used well without getting in the way of play.
The hole designs themselves were more creative than most other adventure style courses that have been reviewed. Although, there was one small design defect we noticed on the 18th of Hook’s Challenge which allowed your ball to bounce off the rocks and into the water too easily (it’s a very long, straight downhill putt with little control over the ball), and on the 14th hole, the ball can bounce out of the multi-tier system. The Lost Boys course is also handicapped accessible. Overall this was a great course and is highly recommended.
