It is a shame this course didn’t last very long because it was an amazing piece of design in each of the holes. It’s not surprising that this was the brainchild cousin of Can Can Wonderland but in this case with the way the course wound through the building it was as if each hole was its own little set. From a moving record, to a car wash, through horse racing and a sauna, there was a huge variety of themes on this 9 hole course and they were all well integrated into the game play and the overall atmosphere. It’s a course that’s made for pictures and experience.
However, this did mean in spots the gameplay wasn’t as smooth as it could have been and some of the holes on the first play through were more difficult than perhaps after you knew a bit about the course. If the course had remained open, it would have been another recommendation to play like Can Can though don’t know if we would return to this one as often. There was an attached bar which had some good drinks, though only ok food, and if you are a record aficionado the “clubhouse” doubled as a record store. Our friends at A Couple of Putts also did a great review of this course that goes into some of the similar details and thoughts.
Unfortunately the course did close otherwise we would have recommended it to play. It was an interesting time while it lasted!
